Frequently asked questions

What is a TFSC stack?

It's a collection of the technologies you know and the certifications you've earned. Each one becomes a colored layer in your personal stack.

Do I need an invite code to sign up?

Yes. New accounts need a 4-digit invite code for their email address, including first-time Google signups. If you do not have one, request an invite with your email. We will review your request and reply manually with the next steps. Existing users can log in as usual.

How do I grow my stack?

Create an account, then choose Add to stack on your dashboard. Pick a technology, add your experience level, and share how you use it. Learn something new? Add another layer.

What do the colors mean?

Technology colors follow categories such as Frontend, Backend, and Database, with colors managed by the admin. Certifications always get a gold layer.

Can I build a bigger stack than my friends?

That's the challenge: keep learning and grow your stack bigger than your friends'. Open Peers, search for their user ID, and see both stacks side by side. Share the ID below your name so they can find you too.

What is a verified stack?

New layers start unverified. Open the Verified stack tab and hover over a layer to request verification. Pending layers have dotted outlines. Once an admin verifies a layer, its outline becomes solid and it gets a tick. Declined requests can be submitted again.

Will my stack be saved?

Yes. Your stack is saved to your account. Log in again from any device to pick up where you left off and keep adding what you learn.
